How to run fair turns at karaoke
The most annoying thing at karaoke is waiting an hour while another group sings five times. These rules prevent it.
One song per table at a time
Each table has one active request. Once it sings, it can request another.
Rotation between tables
The queue follows the table sequence 1, 2, 3 from the last one that sang, instead of only following arrival order.
Optional priority
Anyone who wants to sing sooner can pay for a Priority Pass. Say it clearly on the TV so nobody feels cheated.
A host who explains
One sentence at the start of the night prevents most complaints. Dj Link has per-table rules you turn on with a switch.
